Dr. David Drinkwater, after graduating from Holy Cross with a degree in Biology, attended New York Medical College, graduating as a member of AOA. He completed his residency in general surgery at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Dr. Drinkwater practiced surgery in Nashua, NH from 1999 to 2006. He completed a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery and developed the Obesity Center at Southern NH Medical Center. Dr. Drinkwater joined Brockton Hospital as Chief of Surgery in 2006 and currently serves as President of Signature Medical Group.

Brian McKenna, FACHE comes to the Signature Healthcare with more than 40 years of senior level healthcare management experience and leadership, having worked primarily within for-profit healthcare organizations. McKenna is currently the Vice President of Operations for Signature Medical Group. Prior to his role at Signature Medical Group, McKenna was Director of Specialties, Diagnostic Services & Real Estate for Compass Medical, P.C., a member of the Steward Health Care System. He has extensive experience developing and building relationships in the acute, post-acute, and physician sectors. He has been a faculty member of Stonehill College’s Healthcare Management Department since 1996 and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Patricia Cullen, R.N., joined Signature Healthcare in 2008 when Bridgewater Goddard Medical Associates (BGPMA) joined the network. She has an extensive healthcare background, with over 20 years’ experience in the local healthcare delivery management. She brings proven skills in quality and outcome management, case management and physician practice management. Ms. Cullen is a graduate of Children’s Hospital School of Nursing at Curry College and holds a degree in Healthcare Administration from Emmanuel College.

Dr. Rolf Freter is an esteemed physician specializing in cancer care and oncology. As the Chief of Human Oncology, Dr. Freter is dedicated to providing top-quality care to his patients. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he also completed his graduate studies in Physiology. Dr. Freter went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Cellular & Molecular Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Harvard Medical School. Dr. Freter is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. With his expertise and compassionate approach, he has established himself as a trusted healthcare provider in the greater Brockton community.

Dr. Alexander Georgakis is Signature Healthcare’s Chief of Medical Specialties. With a passion for cardiology, he attended Boston University School of Medicine, where he completed his medical degree. Dr. Georgakis went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Georgakis is a board-certified physician and has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. Additionally, he holds certifications from the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. With a focus on cardiac computed tomography, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Georgakis has a wealth of clinical experience. He is also fluent in English, French, and Greek.

Dr. Steven Lane is a highly skilled physician with a special focus on cancer care and oncology. He is the Chief of Radiation Oncology and earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, where he also completed his graduate studies. He went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, and his residency in Radiation Oncology at MGH/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lane is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and has a particular interest in gynecological cancer, breast cancer, and prostate cancer in addition to general radiation oncology. He is experienced with Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy. Dr. Lane is committed to providing compassionate care to all of his patients and helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Steven Milman is Signature Healthcare’s Chief of Surgery with a wealth of experience in the field of surgery, particularly in thoracic surgery. His expertise in thoracic surgery has made him a sought-after surgeon in the medical community. Dr. Milman completed his medical degree at Cornell University Medical College in New York, NY, and his residency in General Surgery at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, RI. He went on to complete a fellowship in Cardio-thoracic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Milman is board-certified in both Surgery and Thoracic Surgery and is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the General Thoracic Surgical Club, and the New England Surgical Society. His commitment to providing exceptional surgical care to his patients is unmatched, and his passion for his work is evident in the exceptional outcomes he achieves.

Dr. Richard Mulroy Jr. is a highly skilled and experienced orthopedic surgeon, with a focus on total joint replacement. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, and completed his internship and residency in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at Tufts New England Medical Center. Dr. Mulroy also completed a fellowship in hip and implant surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Inc. Dr. Mulroy currently serves as the Chief of Orthopedics, where he continues to provide exceptional care to his patients.

Dr. Stephen Pidgeon is Signature Healthcare’s Chief of Podiatry. Dr. Pidgeon earned his medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency at Saint Vincent Hospital. He has clinical interests in various areas of foot and ankle care. As the Chief of Podiatry, Dr. Pidgeon ensures that his patients receive the highest quality of care possible.

Dr. James Roan is Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology with a wealth of experience in the field of women's health. Dr. Roan completed his medical degree at S.U.N.Y at the Buffalo School of Medicine in Buffalo, NY, and his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Association for Physician Leadership, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

Dr. Maria Sannella is our accomplished Chief of Outpatient Pediatrics. Dr. Sannella specializes in the care of pediatric patients. Her dedication to improving the lives of young patients is evident in her work, as she consistently provides exceptional care to each and every child she sees. Dr. Sannella received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and completed her residency through New England Medical Center. She is board-certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Vikas Tewari is a distinguished physician specializing in eye services. Dr. Tewari received his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Wills Eye Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has clinical interests in ophthalmology and state-of-the-art cataract surgery. Dr. Tewari is fluent in English, French, and Hindi and is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Dr. Robert Weinstein is a highly respected physician with a passion for family medicine. As the Chief of Primary Care & Pediatrics, Dr. Weinstein is committed to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at the Brown University School of Medicine. Dr. Weinstein is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Andrew Weintraub is a highly respected Chief of Cardiology and the Director of Cardiac Catheterization Services. He is an Interventional Cardiologist with a specialization in Structural Heart and Adult Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Weintraub's extensive education includes his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., as well as internships and residencies in Internal Medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. He also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center. Dr. Weintraub is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology. With his expertise and experience, Dr. Weintraub has earned his reputation as a top cardiologist and a trusted healthcare professional in New England.
