Dr. David Drinkwater, after graduating from Holy Cross with a degree in Biology, attended New York Medical College, graduating as a member of AOA. He completed his residency in general surgery at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Dr. Drinkwater practiced surgery in Nashua, NH from 1999 to 2006. He completed a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery and developed the Obesity Center at Southern NH Medical Center. Dr. Drinkwater joined Brockton Hospital as Chief of Surgery in 2006 and currently serves as President of Signature Medical Group.

Brian McKenna, FACHE comes to the Signature Healthcare with more than 40 years of senior level healthcare management experience and leadership, having worked primarily within for-profit healthcare organizations. McKenna is currently the Vice President of Operations for Signature Medical Group. Prior to his role at Signature Medical Group, McKenna was Director of Specialties, Diagnostic Services & Real Estate for Compass Medical, P.C., a member of the Steward Health Care System. He has extensive experience developing and building relationships in the acute, post-acute, and physician sectors. He has been a faculty member of Stonehill College’s Healthcare Management Department since 1996 and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Patricia Cullen, R.N., joined Signature Healthcare in 2008 when Bridgewater Goddard Medical Associates (BGPMA) joined the network. She has an extensive healthcare background, with over 20 years’ experience in the local healthcare delivery management. She brings proven skills in quality and outcome management, case management and physician practice management. Ms. Cullen is a graduate of Children’s Hospital School of Nursing at Curry College and holds a degree in Healthcare Administration from Emmanuel College.

Dr. Rolf Freter is an esteemed physician specializing in cancer care and oncology. As the Chief of Human Oncology, Dr. Freter is dedicated to providing top-quality care to his patients. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he also completed his graduate studies in Physiology. Dr. Freter went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology and Cellular & Molecular Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Harvard Medical School. Dr. Freter is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. With his expertise and compassionate approach, he has established himself as a trusted healthcare provider in the greater Brockton community.

Dr. Alexander Georgakis is Signature Healthcare’s Chief of Medical Specialties. With a passion for cardiology, he attended Boston University School of Medicine, where he completed his medical degree. Dr. Georgakis went on to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Georgakis is a board-certified physician and has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. Additionally, he holds certifications from the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. With a focus on cardiac computed tomography, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Georgakis has a wealth of clinical experience. He is also fluent in English, French, and Greek.

Dr. Steven Lane is a highly skilled physician with a special focus on cancer care and oncology. He is the Chief of Radiation Oncology and earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, where he also completed his graduate studies. He went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, and his residency in Radiation Oncology at MGH/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lane is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and has a particular interest in gynecological cancer, breast cancer, and prostate cancer in addition to general radiation oncology. He is experienced with Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), and High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy. Dr. Lane is committed to providing compassionate care to all of his patients and helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.
