Signature Healthcare has developed a comprehensive violence prevention program which includes procedures to identify, prevent and manage threats in our facilities. The plan creates an awareness of actions that can reduce the likelihood of threats and violent behavior. Violence includes physical, verbal and psychological abuse that affects quality of care.
Signature Healthcare adheres to a Zero Tolerance standard for violence directed toward staff members by patients, visitors and others.
Individuals who commit such acts may be removed from the premises and may be subject to criminal penalties. This is supported and included in all Signature Healthcare facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts.
