Gastroenterologists diagnose and treat digestive disorders, such as stomach pain, ulcers, reflux, constipation and Crohn's disease.

Signature Healthcare has a clinical partnership with Gastrointestinal Specialists; a physician group practicing in Brockton, Taunton, East Bridgewater and Middleboro who see Signature patients and have access to electronic patient medical records for seamless care. All of the physicians are Board Certified and proficient in all gastrointestinal procedures including:

  • Colonoscopy(to evaluate the colon)
  • Upper endoscopy(to evaluate the esophagus, stomach and upper small intestine)
  • ERCP(to evaluate bile ducts and pancreas)
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Capsule endoscopy
  • Hemorrhoid banding
  • Esophageal dilation (stretching of the esophagus)
  • Stent placement (catheters placed to relieve blockages)
