Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital has been awarded Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke Silver Plus quality achievement award for its commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines, ultimately leading to more lives saved and reduced disability. Get With The Guidelines - Stroke is an in-hospital program for improving stroke care by promoting consistent adherence to these guidelines, which can minimize the long-term effects of a stroke and even prevent death. In addition the hospital also received the American Heart Association’s Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll award, which aims to ensure patients with Type 2 diabetes, who might be at higher risk for complications, receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care when hospitalized due to stroke.

These evidence-based designations identify the country’s best healthcare institutions and are the only designations to consider female patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.

Signature Medical Group was again named to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care’s 21st annual Physician Group Honor Roll. 58 physician groups in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut were named to the Honor Roll. The annual Honor Roll highlights physician groups that have achieved exceptional results in their approach to disease prevention and the treatment of acute and chronic illness for both adult and pediatric patients based on the National Committee for Quality Assurance's quality benchmarks.
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) announced that all Signature Medical Group Primary Care locations have received NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes focusing on highly coordinated care and long‐term, participative relationships with patients which ultimately help to improve the patient experience and reduce costs.
