Signature Healthcare
I was admitted to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital with COVID-19 in August 2021. When you have COVID-19, you don’t know if it’s a dream or real life. I was healthy before I got COVID-19, but COVID-19 really breaks the body down. This virus is no joke. It takes you out.
Signature Healthcare staff kept me going. They made me feel very comfortable. We were able to joke with each other, which helped me through.
I wasn’t able to go outside for a month when I was admitted. When I was finally able to go outside, my care team rolled me outside to get a little sunshine. That really perked me up. It brought tears to my eye. They don’t do that for just everybody, so it made me feel special.
My care team saved my life. They said I was a fighter and I didn’t give up. I’m still fighting.
Two months later, I’m now recovering in rehab. When I am out of rehab, I will return to thank the Signature Healthcare staff for their work and great care.
I also plan to get the COVID-19 vaccine. I recommend anyone get the vaccine. Don’t play around with these things; they could kill you.
