I wish to give thanks to all of the ER staff and providers on Saturday, 7/19. My sister, Judy, was unfortunately brought into the ER unresponsive and not breathing. They tried their hardest to bring her back to us, but this was unsuccessful. Her husband, my nephew, and niece were kept informed of what was happening until the end, and my sister was treated with dignity and respect.

As an employee of Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, I am proud to say how happy I am to work with such endearing and thoughtful staff. It is hard on a family to lose a loved one, but I know it is equally challenging on the staff who work so hard not to lose them. My deepest thank you to all who were involved in her care.

I’d also like to express a thank you to the funeral director’s sister, who he referred to as the Director of Nursing. She was instrumental in ensuring my sister could be released from the hospital, especially given the challenges in reaching a covering provider while the attending was on maternity leave.
