I was exercising at my cardiac rehab appointment when my care team noted an abnormal heart rhythm. They stopped my exercise and the next time I went to rehab it happened again. My care team was concerned, so they called my cardiologist. I had an elective cardiac catheterization and come to find out, I had a 90% blockage because my stent collapsed. I wound up getting another stent. If I hadn’t gotten that taken care of, I probably would have had another heart attack.
I went into rehab expecting to do what I needed to do and get out of there, but the Signature Healthcare staff asked about every detail of my health, even things that didn’t directly apply, like diabetes and high blood pressure. They got the whole picture. They made me feel like I was special and not just a number.
I appreciate all the efforts and everything they did for me because they made me want to pay more attention to my health and well-being. To me, it’s a good reflection on them and their professionalism. I think Signature Healthcare should be very proud they have people who really care about patients and it’s not just a job.
