Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing welcomes applicants who have attended institutions of higher education. To be eligible for transfer, a course must have been taken at a college accredited by one of the nationally recognized accrediting agencies approved by the U.S. Federal Department of Education. Students may transfer any number of courses. However, to be eligible for the Fisher College Associate in Science Degree, the student is required to complete a minimum of 30 credits through Fisher College (see Fisher Degree Eligibility). Students may be required to submit a catalog and/or course syllabus from each college attended. Please note: Students must submit official transcripts to the Admissions Office to be reviewed for transfer courses no later than July 15th of the calendar year the student is entering SH/BHSON. Any official transcripts submitted after that date will not be considered for transfer classes.

Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing maintains written records of previous education and training of the veteran and/or eligible person and indicates appropriate credit has been given for previous training and education.
Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing has received approval from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing to make changes to its curriculum. These changes are a result of a thorough review of the curriculum by faculty and administrators and in response to feedback from our current students, graduates, and community partners.
College-level courses with a C+ grade or higher, an equitable course credit, and the academic equivalents of the following Fisher College Courses will be considered for transfer:
*To be eligible for transfer, the above science courses must have been completed no more than 3 years prior to enrollment at Brockton Hospital School of Nursing.
** College Mathematics for Nursing Application – to be eligible for transfer, the student must complete the following requirements:
College Level Examination Program (CLEP) or Advanced Placement (AP) examinations, typically taken at the end of a high school AP class, may be transferred into Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing with a grade of C+ or higher. Official results of CLEP Exams and AP Exams must be submitted for transfer evaluation by July 15th of the calendar year the student is entering Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital School of Nursing.
Students who wish to transfer from other nursing schools will be evaluated on an individual basis. Transfer students are required to fulfill the same diploma requirements as any other student.
