At Signature Healthcare, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology offers advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques for multiple non-cancerous gynecologic conditions. Robotic-assisted, traditional laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques are used to treat conditions including, but not limited to, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, chronic pelvic pain and abnormal uterine bleeding.
Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) allows our surgeons to perform complex surgeries through tiny incisions. Through innovations and advanced technologies, women are able return home on the same day with less pain and less time away from life and work.
Dr. Temitope Awosogba is a board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist who subspecializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She completed a one-year high volume MIGS fellowship at Beth Israel Lahey Medical Center. She subsequently did a second one-year high volume fellowship focusing on complex surgery and endometriosis excision at Mount Auburn Hospital. She approaches each patient with compassionate patient-centered care and works in partnership with her patients to alleviate suffering and promote healing.
