Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital is among the top four safest hospitals in the State, as recognized by The Leapfrog Group.
Today, the hospital was awarded its 18th consecutive safety ‘A’ grade from Leapfrog, an achievement reached by only four hospitals in Massachusetts and 39 hospitals nationwide.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety ‘A’ Grade is a national distinction, recognizing a hospital’s excellent performance in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections and other harms to patients in their care.

The distinction from Leapfrog aligns with Signature Healthcare’s history of safe and outstanding quality care. Brockton Hospital received the 2021 Women’s Choice Awards® for Best Comprehensive Breast Center and Best Mammogram Imaging Center. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts recognized the hospital with a Blue Distinction for safe, quality Maternity care. The hospital was also named a Top Teaching Hospitalin 2020 for the fourth year in a row.
